Brendan Yukins, LCSW, CST (He/Him)

Staff Therapist

Congratulations! You’re taking the first step towards a happier, healthier life. You are making a powerful decision in seeking support. We can’t know what amazing chain reaction will come from this choice to heal. My background is in sexual and domestic violence. I believe trauma affects us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. By establishing safety, remembering, and grieving, we are able to reconnect with our current lives. I use a mixture of experiential, Nature-based, and Feminist Relational techniques to reconnect you and your loved ones to relationships, community, and the Earth. Our nervous system cannot absorb the impact of trauma alone. Together, we find a way forward.

In session, I use talk therapy, Ecotherapy, and somatic exercises. I am direct in my approach, with the intention of offering both respect and genuine reactions to support the therapeutic relationship. I believe everyone has the power to cultivate peace within themselves and our chosen family. It’s my job to support you as you figure out how.
