Grace Bothwell, LSW (They/She)

Staff Therapist

As a clinician, Grace works to co-create a space where patients can feel safe enough to be vulnerable. Grace is a queer-identified therapist who practices from a variety of modalities, including Relational Psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Mindfulness. They believe that therapy is a co-created space between the clinician and patient, and so every treatment requires a different approach. Grace practices from a trauma informed, anti-oppressive lens and is particularly interested in working with issues around sex and sensuality, gender, race and racialization, and trauma. Grace believes in helping clients understand their inner world and greater context in order to help foster change at an individual, community, and systems level.

Grace believes that the therapeutic relationship between the patient and clinician is the foundation of the work and a fundamental component to healing. They help to provide a compassionate, curious, and non-judgmental environment so that patients can bring their full selves.

Grace practices therapy in Illinois and offers coaching anywhere.
