Angela Medrano, ACSW (She/Her)
Staff Therapist
Angela is a queer Filipina-Mexican therapist based in Los Angeles, California. She completed her graduate training from the University of California, Los Angeles and earned her Bachelor of Arts from Dickinson College as a Posse Foundation Scholar.
Angela aims to offer a safe, warm, and inclusive space for folks of all intersections, with a primary focus on Queer/Trans and BIPOC communities. Embracing your natural strengths, she’ll work collaboratively to rediscover and reconstruct your personal narratives, nurturing trust within your body, mind, and spirit.
Her practice supports clients around topics of anti-oppression, grief, sexuality, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and trauma. With an approach that is holistic, relational, and somatic – Angela supports clients in reconnecting with their most authentic, self-compassionate, and whole self, even amidst life’s stressors.
Angela believes that our shared humanity and connection are essential to the therapeutic process. Her therapeutic practice stems from community—those who showed her ways to embrace her own life stories. Experiencing the transformative power of therapy fuels her passion for helping folks like you in navigating your own healing journey. With introspection, validation, and gentle guidance, she trusts your body and mind to guide you to a life you love and thrive within.
