Jenn is a is a queer-identified, licensed clinical social worker with over ten years of experience working with individuals, families, and groups of all ages and genders in a variety of therapeutic settings. She believes that our relationships and connections with others are at the heart of our well-being and collaborates with clients to strengthen their connection to themselves and others. Through empathetic validation and reflection, she holds a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore and express feelings and also recognizes the power of sitting together in silence.
Jenn approaches therapy from an anti-oppressive, trauma informed framework and her practice is grounded in psycho-dynamic, attachment, and relational cultural theories. She incorporates different modalities of expression and healing in her work including mindfulness techniques, art, music, and even pop culture. Jenn has training in comprehensive, lifespan sexuality education, as well as in queer/trans and poly/ENM affirming therapy. She works with clients who are navigating issues of gender and or sexual identity development, relationships, anxiety, depression, grief/loss and relational trauma.
