Staff Therapist
Let’s name it: finding a new therapist can often feel overwhelming and uncertain. My intention is to make this process feel as comfortable and transparent as possible.
My practice is relational and collaborative. Having grown up in a wheelchair due to a physical disability, I recognize unique challenges associated with body-image and getting comfortable with the uncomfortable. I prioritize the mind-body connection through somatic experiencing and approach this work with warmth, creativity, and sometimes, even humor. I'm passionate about working with individuals and couples looking to explore identity, process old wounds, release toxic shame, and reconnect from a place of authenticity.
In 2019, I left my career in Hollywood during the rise of the #MeToo movement to pursue social work and advocacy for those who have experienced trauma. Since then, I’ve worked with Survivors of sex-trafficking at Safe Horizons and childhood sexual assault at UCLA Hospital where I fostered clients’ emotional and physical safety in pursuit of healing. Forever a believer in the power of storytelling, I seek to empower my clients to reflect and reclaim their own narratives on their own timelines.
I joined The Expansive Group from Mount Sinai Hospital, where I worked in the ICU helping families navigate life-changing, complex medical systems, as well as the Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery providing gender-affirming care for Non-Binary and Transgender individuals. I received my Master’s degree from NYU and earned my Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College. My practice centers YOU as the real expert of your experience - as your therapist, I ride alongside as a supportive guide, fully dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. I welcome you to reach out whenever you feel ready.
